  1. I wish you all the best with your book. I’d suggest you include something in the heading description of the book being a practical guide (I’m assuming it is…) so people won’t think it’s a bla bla bla, but know that they do get the know how of healing.
Also, If I may suggest other names:
    – The Art of Self Healing
    – You Are A Foot Away from your Healthy You
    – Healthy Soul with a Healthy Sole

PS: I believe you meant to say “Soul” in your suggested titles, not “Sole”? If not, then I’d suggest you make it all upper case to show you mean a different word (especially in Body Mind Heart and SOLE)

    Thanks and good luck
    Fouad

    1. Thanks for the feedback Fouad. Sole is a play on words because you massage your feet/soles for guidance on healing your body. Thank you for pointing that out. It helps me see that there is potential for confusion so if we go with this title, we’ll be sure to find a way to make it clear (e.g. big picture of sole of foot chart on the book or something like that).

“A foot away” is very clever ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I love “Body Mind Heart and Sole” and I think the subtitle is fantastic, too (“How to Improve Your Health and Uncover Your Soulโ€™s Calling with Chinese Reflexology”). I could see the book cover having “Body, Mind, Heart” in one line in large font, then “and Sole” in a larger font beneath that, with a footprint somewhere on the cover, too. And then the subtitle in a small, legible font.

I’m not attracted to “Sole Guidance” because my first thought was “Only Guidance” not “Soul/Sole Guidance” — seemed demanding and exclusive. Had to read the subtitle to see the soul-connection.

The “Amazing, Amazing” title doesn’t have as much juice as “BMHS.” And the 3rd title option feels too long to me.

Congratulations, Holly!!! What a legacy. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Dear Holly,

Allow me to notice that you used the word “sole” instead of soul. Sole is a fish or can be the part of the footwear that contacts the ground or even the part of the foot that is supported by the latter. It can also be an adjective which describes a single person or thing, such as in “My sole objective is to learn Chinese reflexology”.

    Good luck with your book!

    Constantin

    1. Thank you Constantin. Sole is a play on words because it’s a book on massaging your feet/soles. You’re the second person with a keen eye and good grammar skills to point this out. I’ll keep this in mind when choosing a title so as not to cause confusion.

  5. Hi Holly, thank you very much for sharing your knowledge on your website. ๐Ÿ™‚

I tossed up between “Amazing Health, Amazing Life” and “Sole Guidance” for the main titles. (It’s a shame that some people missed the pun.)

I liked “How to Use Chinese Reflexology to Heal Your Body and Follow Your Passion” best, partly because it is the most clear.

(I ended up voting for “Amazing Health, Amazing Life”.)

It is just my opinion (because I am cynical :(), but when I see a string of words like “Ancient Secrets of Chinese Reflexology”, I think “this book is going to make big claims or promises, but will (the book) live up to it?” – and hence, such a title actually puts me off. Like I said though, I am cynical; this might not be a problem for most people.

    Congratulations on getting published!

Suggesting a title: YOUR FOOT CAN HEAL YOU!

Just want you to know i had frequent heart spasms which incredibly lessened with foot reflexology. I constantly used this wooden gadget for massaging my foot (available in Vietnam I think- mine was a gift to my husband and he does not remember who gave it to him!) – targeting the heart area – and suddenly, boom! I felt my heart “reset”.

I wish I could find away to unlock my hips as I am a senior who like to do natural healing. But can’t do the butterfly thing but like your information very much and will buy the book. Can yo do hand reflexology also.

    1. Yes, hand reflexology is good too. The feet are best, but if you can’t reach them easily, you can definitely start with your hands. If you slowly begin stretching, you will be amazed at how flexible your body can become. There are also hip reflexology points on the ankles that may be easier to reach, and may help you unlock your hips more. Here’s an article on those points:
